I am a human centred designer, strategist, and both an award-winning art director and creative director. Over the last fifteen years, I’ve worked across Canada at some of the country’s top advertising and design agencies, developing breakthrough multi-platform solutions for a wide range of clients such as Bell, ICBC, Kids Help Phone, Target, and Covenant House, as well as many provincial and federal government ministries.

I hold a Master of Design from OCADU in Strategic Foresight and Innovation. Combining formal training in foresight and design thinking methodologies with my experience in communication design uniquely positions me at the intersection of creative and strategic disciplines. I’m at my best when I’m digging deep, examining problems, studying behaviours, uncovering insights, working in teams and generating innovative solutions.

I consult with a broad range of clients on the development of creative and strategic campaigns across multiple platforms, drawing on foresight and design thinking methodologies gathered from my Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCADU. 

I apply my experience to end-to-end projects, beginning with leading clients and stakeholders through the discovery phase; framing the problem, understanding the context, and establishing the criteria for success. From there I embark on the research phase, leaning on empathy to keep the key user at the heart of the exploration. I then participate in and oversee the convergence phase; bringing discoveries and insights into focus, and identifying opportunities for innovation. And finally, working towards the creative output; from the conceptual stage, through iterations with clients and stakeholders, through production and post-production, to the final client delivery.

For four years I led the creative department at Canada’s leading social cause agency; creating and overseeing national and regional campaigns for government agencies and some of Canada’s highest profile charities and nonprofits.

  • My role spanned traditional creative, management and client-facing

    development and execution for multi-platform campaigns: digital
    display advertising and SEM, social media, websites, print, collateral,
    radio, digital videos, and television broadcast
